The RLCS are the official tournament series, organized by Psyonix. The best Rocket League teams from Europe, North-America, South-America and Oceania are competing over a 4,5 M$ prize pool in a 9-month circuit, between August 2020 and June 20201, culminating in a World Championship LAN finals. The season is divided in three splits, each offering their own format. In order to provide a full coverage of the matches of the Winter split, Psyonix has chosen HBW Production to produce the tertiary broadcast (C stream) on their English Twitch channel The Rocket (twitch.tv/TheRocketRB).

HBW Production has been operating the French broadcast of RLCS since season 8 through their Rocket Baguette brand. Their English brand, The Rocket, has been launched early 2020 with the aim of providing an English platform for all the Rocket League esports content created by Rocket Baguette, both a broadcaster and tournament organizer. Psyonix and HBW Production have already cooperated this summer, as Psyonix sponsored a $40,000 off-season European tournament, the Summer Grand Prix, organized by Rocket Baguette and broadcasted in French on the Rocket Baguette channel and in English on the The Rocket channel.

HBW Production’s English coverage of RLCS has begun the day 1 of the first European Regional of Split 2 on November 12th and will continue throughout the split on November 21st, December 3rd, December 10th, January 9th and January 23rd on Twitch.tv/TheRocketRB.
